Georges Braque was a French painter born on May 13, 1882, in Argenteuil, France. He spent his childhood in Le Havre and planned to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather by becoming a house painter. From about 1897 to 1899, Braque studied painting at the École des Beaux-Arts in the evenings.

Verve 31-32, book with texts by Will Grohmann, Rebecca West and Antoine Tudal. 160 pages. With 120 plates in Heliogravüre and 20 in color, of which 11 lithographs and 9 in mixed technique.
